I have always loved candles. There’s just something about the flickering flame that adds a special dose of coziness & comfort to a room. Growing up my mom always had a candle burning around each holiday or when we had company coming over. To this day I can still remember what “Spring” smelled like in my childhood home because of a candle. Scents have that kind of power! Now, for my own family, I use scents to help us usher in each new season. My fall candles give us all of the cozy feels when we start burning Autumn candles (usually in August, ha!) and my fresh & floral scents evoke the exciting feelings of fresh starts & new life in the Spring.
Back in 2018, I was burning a candle from one of the "big" stores, and I noticed that I was starting to get a headache. At that time, my son was a year old, and it dawned on me that I should check out the ingredients in the candle I was burning to make sure it was okay to burn around him. As I started doing more research on candles and their ingredients, I found that so many of my favorite brands weren’t great to burn around my little one. Giving up candles was not an option in my mind, so I decided to make my own!
After a couple of years of making candles for our family and friends, I started getting requests from other people to buy them as gifts. In September of 2020, this business was born!
Our candles & melts are hand poured in our home in Roanoke, Virginia. We use 100% natural soy wax, cotton and paper wicks (lead-free), and high end phthalate-free fragrance oils. We worry about the ingredients so you don’t have to!
